I have not been this excited about a post in ages- I really was drooling over the images from the spectacular and sublimely perfect Hidden Pond Cottages in Kennebunkport, ME!!!! I am head over heels in love and DYING to go! Each cottage in decorated in a unique way and I swear it’s looks like touring these would be like walking through the pages of your favorite shelter magazine. 1 bedroom cottages are about $595 per night/ 2 bedrooms are $695 but include breakfast brought to your cottage daily and afternoon tea (not to mention Frette linens, Mario Russo products, outdoor showers, gas fireplaces and flat screen TVs.)
Take a peek at just a few of the cottages:
How fabulous is this kitchen??

Using oars as towel racks?? Clever- score one for their decorators!

Tin walls? Check.

A perfect use of the omnipresent Cole & Son paper as well as an incredibly cool screened in porch with a grass floor!

Darling exteriors.
Compass rose on the ceiling? Genius.

Oh and did I mention there is a working farm, tented spa and pool with plush loungers?

MUST GO! MUST GO! :)
