Oh, Mr. Mocassin. I have no idea how I feel about you. You kind of look like a slipper, and sometimes make it look like one is trying to channel Pocahontas as a fashion guru, but yet you still come back in style every so often. You are comfy as heck, but can you look good??
Minnetonka is the original, and still available. I am going to go out on a limb and make the call that mocassins will be a HUGE trend for fall. HEre’s how I know-
Nine West’s “so happy” moc in sunny yellow at left, and Cole Haan’s wedge moc version, complete with Nike Air!
Target has a bevy of moc’s for fall in bright colors and neutrals!
Christian Laboutin trades in his perfect nude wedge heels for a nude penny loafer moccasin for fall, left, and Tod’s crafts a snazzy feminine driving loafer moc as well, right.
Tory Burch has a couple styles available for fall- and you know if Tory’s making them, they will be a huge hit.
Go grey with the Cole Haan Emerson moc. Or Old Navy’s version.

absolutely ! they even have those little kits so you can make them yourself! also – the fur lined from Bean’s are wonderful.
I have a problem with them. I love them when I see them (it’s what I thought when I saw your post) and I tell to myself that I’m going to buy a pair, but when I put them on… I look so ridiculous!! I’m like a fairy tale prince… I’m sure this winter will be the same!

It wasn’t that long ago that these were “in” right? Like 3 years ago? I still have a couple pair that I hadn’t gotten around to giving to goodwill yet. Does this mean ballet flats are “out”? I’m so confused. Next thing you know the damn Uggs will be cool again.
I bought some blue ones from Payless of all places this past spring (or was it fall?). I love them! My boyfriend says they look like cute boat shoes, so I guess they get the male vote as well :)
