Easily the most mind blowing performance I’ve ever seen. So good in fact that I am VERY tempted to part with the $500 it would take to get me stage-side at tonight’s Boston show. Seriously. I know I risk sounding cheesy/lame/crazy by saying this, but it was backed up by a friend who was also at the Hartford show: it is practically a religious experience to see them live. This song live gave me goosebumps from head to toe for a solid three minutes.
IN fact, I was so deliriously happy at the show that not once did I chide my husband for playing the “air drums” with every single song.
Probably because I was busy air riffing on the guitar.

We’ve seen them in concert twice and they truly are AMAZING! They are one of my favorite bands to see live.
It was an AMAZING concert! I too am considering going again! Definitely getting stage-side seats next time.
I agree!! I was thinking “Why did I not just pony up the big bucks to sit stage side?” Lesson Learned.
God, that song gives me major chills, I can only imagine what it’s like live! Pay the money and go stage side!!!!
ugh, goosebumps and tears! that one he wrote for gwenny when her dad died! man, i want to see them again and again!AND AGAIN!
Ok, I can admit it now Annie, but I was holding back tears for SURE!!!!
air riff away girlfriend.
AMEN. I was at the Hartford show as well, and about an hour ago I was seriously considering jumping in the car and heading to Boston. I’m still on a high from Saturday night – so amazing!!! I’ve seen them live twice before this, but they were just incredible this go-round.
My brother, husband, and sister in law were all there and at this very moment are trying to find a way to see them again! Yum Yum.
I am so glad to hear this! I am going to see them in Nov. for the first time. I got tickets on a whim as a new Coldplay fan!!
Ok so this started something pretty funny…After reading this post my sister and law got all back into our post-concert high and took a totally ridiculous whirlwind trip to Boston to try and get tickets…we didn’t get in but it was so spontaneous and fun to try! I won’t say it was all because of your post, but it just pushed over the edge…thanks! I posted about it on my blog.

Chris- what a bummer you did not get in!!! But it’s good to be spontaneous. My cousin (who went to the Vegas show) and I are actually going to fly to Dallas to see them again in November! Crazy? Maybe….maybe not!
Yes, Coldplay is pretty awesome. Looking forward to seeing them!
