I have always loved handwriting and calligraphy. Oddly, I change my handwriting all the time with whatever mood I’m in. That kind of sounds like something a crazed serial killer would do, but it’s more for aesthetics than evading the cops. I’ve come to love what I now know is “flourishing”. I’ve seen it pop up on various home accessories over the past few months. These are only a few examples- I’m cursing the fact that I didn’t bookmark the other items I’ve seen during my internet travels… but you get the idea!

I have the book you showed at the top and I love it! I tired to teach myself how to do it but just didn’t have the patience. =) LOVE the chair!!
Isn’t it funny how simple lines,, loops and curves become such wondrous works of art? I love flourishes.
