My wedding. An extraordinary undertaking that produced near perfect results. I learned during the 15 months of planning my event that I had a true passion for the small details- how a silk bow was tied on a program, how I needed the exact right pin to tack nametags to specials pears sought out at a farmers market, how to find someone to hand paint a runner for me with a logo I designed. These elements (ha!there we go again with the name!) are the things that make me tick. I can sit in a stationery store for hours pontificating on the deliciousness of letterpress. Hence my need to add event planning to my business.
And then there was getting published. Inside Weddings Magazine gave me 9 pages of beautiful photos (thanks to M. Benedicte Verley Photography) which made all the hard work worth while.

hello! I have been perusing the internet looking for links to the Lord Thompson Manor & came across your site & name twice!
I was there today, and am going back with my fiance tomorrow, as we are thinking we may have our wedding there in the fall… it's BEAUTIFUL, and I really like the way it's set up. If you don't mind giving this information out — how many guests did you have? We are thinking we will have close to 200, and I'm nervous about the space being large enough.
Thank you!
Allie
ps – love your taste! I'm a graphic designer & am already designing logos for us, and we just got engaged a couple weeks ago!
I'll check back here & see if you comment back.
